Whatever floats your boat. You can't get an objective answer to a subjective question.Opinions change over time.An emotional connection is what gives a song life.If you connect a song with a time and place,it raises nostalgia for you, even though the song itself may be heinous.

Whatever sounds good at any particular moment. The best is when you hear a new song and it doesn't register at first and then after you hear it a few more times and it grabs you.It seems that if you hear something that you like right away, the novelty wears off quickly. It's the songs that take a few listenings to get familiar with that are the best.
