I have considered "A day In the Life" by The Beatles and "How does it Feel" by Slade to be "Powerful", I only say this because I heard the two songs earlier on this morning, and last year my grandfather had them played at his funeral. (and when I heard them I burst into tears)

Which songs do you find "Powerful"?

A powerful song for anyone is one that is linked to a powerful memory.
Mine is "Glory of Love" from the Karate Kid Movie. Ralph Macchio looked very much like my first love and it got me hooked. I also like "Alone" by Heart, as we broke up around that time. He once sent me a cd of Chicago stating that "You're the Inspiration" was how he described me so that one too is another one that I love. How sad am I and this was all about 20 years ago!!!!
Hoping that you are learning to cope with losing your grandfather. Take care and be happy.
