Stop giving him cow's milk!! He clearly can't digest it properly. If your son is still breastfeeding, he does not need it anyway. If he isn't, you can get all the nutrients found in milk from other sources. You can try different kinds of milk if you like (lactaid, soy, goat), or just eliminate the milk altogether. I would talk to your pediatrician, but it sounds like your son is having a reaction and you should stop giving it to him immediately. Before the age of two (or possibly even three) it is very important to keep fat in a child's diet for their brain development, so you need to find something else that can provide the nutrition that your son needs. Your doctor should be able to help you figure out what is best for your child. Cow milk is overrated, anyway, in my opinion.

My son is the same. Although he tolerates milk pretty well, he does have the occassional spit up. Have you tried giving him yogurt instead of the milk? Because of the active ingrediants in yogurt it makes the lactose easier for sensative bellies to digest. PLUS, it has a lot more calcium that milk if you can belive that.
I bet in a few months he'll be fine with milk. Just do it slowly. With my son I mixed regular milk with formula. I deleted an ounce of formula and replaced it with an ounce of whole milk. I did this until we reached a full 8 ounces of whole milk.
We also drink soy milk. That may help too.

i have a 2yo who had very bad eczema in his 1st year......he is also allergic to peanuts and legumes.......i do belive there is a correlation between eczeema and allergies.....i would have to guess that your son is allergic to dairy so stop giving it to him because with allergies evertime u have the thing u are allergic to the reaction becomes worse/.......maybe having a blood test for basic allergies would be a good idea and i hope u are treating the eczema because with the right treatment for your son it will disappear and hopefully stay away.....also if u are still breastfeeding and u have alot of dairy that could be the cause of the eczema.....my sons eczema settled alot when i stopped having peanut butter toast for breakfast each morning whe i was breast feeding him......good luck and be careful of the dairy products

cease giving him dairy and try rice milk, or soy. exzema often is assoicated with dairy intolerance, you may notice that this decreases and his vomiting subsides when dairy is not in his diet. some people grow out of this after a few years others dont. He can be tested to see if he has an intolerance to same with a specialist. You'll need a refferal from a gp.

My little one has/had eczema as an infant but it still flairs up on a very rare occasion. I have been told by his allergist that eczema is a sign he is allergic to "something". I suggest calling an allergist and get more info.
Mine is allergic to a few things not unidentified yet (waiting for blood tests)
Good Luck!

The rash might be an allergic reaction. Let the doctor know and have him be tested for an allergy to milk. He might be allergic to milk and /or dairy products.

As a baby I had severe excema. Stop the cowmilk. Have him wear gloves and put moisturizing lotion and eat and drink food that is full of nutrients and water. The more liquids the better!!! Also, have him wear sunscreen and protective clothing when you go out. It will keep his skin moist and not itchy and keep him safer against desiese. Thank you!!!

I agree with pp who said to switch to rice or soy. There is almond milk, too. You don't really need milk. Milk is actually not very good for you.

You must realize that cows milk is meant for baby cows, not baby humans. Why in the**** aren't you breast feeding your kid anyway?
