Yes.
She need to die to talk to her mother who is also about to die.
Remember when last discribed Ellis was sedate. That is not Ellis.
Also when Meredith was drowning she said she saw people fading, Ellis, and she had more to say , to Ellis.
Ellis is going to die and Meredith is going to come back to life.
That is what should happen though the writers may juice it down a little.
I am more dark and twisty than they are.

They said she had a temp of only 81 degrees... As they say in the medical field, you're not dead unless you're warm and dead... Every now and then, you'll hear about a child that fell through the ice somewhere, that survived after a period of extreme hypothermia. Metabolisms and body functions will actually slow down. I'm guessing that they're going to pull one of those, using her diminuative size as a plot device! Honestly though, let someone else almost get killed off!!! Make us actually be nervous for them!!!

OMG SHES DEAD!!!!!!! But i think that maybe shes in a coma or something and will come back, besides, the show is called "greys anatomy" lol

Can't be. How can it be "Gray's Anatomy" without Meredith Gray? Wouldn't they have to change the name if they kill off the lead?

No! Well, really I'm trying to make excuses but i hope shes not. I think she's just having one of those near death experiences. I told my husband she couldn't be really dead 'cause her name is on the show.My husband since her name is on the show I hope not!
My husband said he read somewhere that shes coming back as the narrator. Kinda like the chick on Desperate Housewives. I dunno. I'm just hoping so much that she isn't.

No way, she can't die, and she probably won't. Then the season would like have to be over, or have they would have to end the show completely. But it was sooooo great last night, I can't believe she saw Denny!! Can't wait till next episode, Big Fan, like everyone else. LOL.:)

Nope...she's gonna wake up with a gasp shortly after they give up trying to save her..she's the main star, she can't die.
