i agree. it's been very hard for me and my fiance, with both staff and students at school, our parents, the president, and just people in general. Its the homophobic people who are keeping us apart. Everything we do is based on them, because according to the school councilor and principle, seeing two females together makes people uncomfortable and distracts them from their studies.
But how do they think we feel? I have skipped school in the past just because I was scared that something bad was going to happen to me and my girl. My grades have dropped so much because all I can hear is people calling out "fag" during class.
There is nothing worse than holding your lover tight in your arms as she cries because she knows that we will never have the opportunity to have a family like "normal" people.
I'd give anything to marry her and be with her forever.

Since I am bi-sexual and in a happy same sex relationship, I of course feel that I should be accepted. I do, do everything that other citizens do though.

If here in OZ we believe in freedom of speech, then why cant we also belive in freedom of actions? like straight people gay people are just the same. I dont understand why our government wont allow gay marriage, but it is ridiculous. They say that god frowned upon gays, but how many people do you know that are not religous and got married? They just need the basics or produce theie own wedding like so many of my family. The government make me furious...and im with gay people all the way!

I agree. I only wish that something had allowed my darling Gwenneth and I to be truly united before her death. 42 years of joyous love will have to suffice.

I totally agree. The Bible contains six admonishments to homosexuals and 362 admonishments to heterosexuals. So maybe we should take over and show Christians how the world should be run.
