omgoodness I hope not! I can't stand it. The most exhausting two hours of television I've sat through in awhile. I can't imagine what next week will be like!

I don't think so. After all, the show is called Grey's Anatomy, so do you really think they are going to kill off Meredith Grey? I haven't heard anything about the show being cancelled, so that is my theory. But then again, Meredith's mom (the other Dr. Grey) is having lucid moments back from Alzheimer's ville. I suppose she could carry on the title role of the show, but I hope not because she is so unpleasant (and not in an intriguing way).

Some of the best TV shows have killed off main characters: Henry Blake on MASH, Nate Fisher on Six Feet Under, Dr. Green on ER.
I don't think that it's out of the question that Meredith or one of the other docs could die on Grey's Anatomy.

They won't do that she is the main character. Hence Grey's Anatomy. The book is Gray's Anatomy.

She can't die twice now can she? Or can she?
No, her mother will die and while they are both dead they will talk to one another and just as they are happy Meredith will come back to life.
It will mess up her relationships with everyone as Meredith now has to decide what is important to her at this moment in time.

I think they will have her in a coma for a while and people will come talk to her and confess things to her... it would be interesting.
I think through it all she will learn how to be a better doctor because she will be the patient for a while.
I don't think they will "kill" her off though because she is the show...

No, the show is named after HER, it revolves around HER job, HER friends and HER love life. They would lose over half their audience if they did that including me.
