I am using the emulator called DeSmuME, and I can't seem to find any games to download. I am particularly looking for pokemon ranger, nintendogs, kirby, or supermario. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Are a few sites that carry a wide variety of roms.
there are a few burners out there than can burn you a Cd with a complete collection of roms. you have to pay for the time of burning and the CD.

The only site I know with a large selection of NDS ROMS would be
http://www.dgemu.com/, and you must sign up. It's free, but you must earn download points by posting in the forums, writing reviews for ROMS, or making donations to the site (money).

What you are attempting would be illegal, but I doubt the DS would work on the PC anyways with out some major tweaking.
