I was wondering why so many people think bribery is immoral and why we allow lobbyist to do their bidding in our government, it is almost the same thing isn't it.

Bribery would be considered things such as paying off a judge or an officer of the law to be in your favor that, is considered bribery .....but when you give a lawyer a large sum of money to act in your best interest . then that is called a retainer fee..why do you think all politicians are also Lawyers........

. Only those with money can afford to bribe someone. Also with a bribe it means something isn't up to par or lacking in someway and the bribe is to have them look the other way. It's another way of keeping the poor down. And allowing the rich to get their way
