Once again, my wife Eugenia and I find ourself in the Church Scrabble Competition Finals against Mervin and Hortence Gays. This is the 5th year in a row and they beat us every time!!!
How can my sweet Eugenia and I avoid 'choking' this time and finally prove to the Gays, the church, and the world at large that we have Word Power????

I think you should present some ex-lax laden brownies to them before the match, or maybe some Epsom salt mixed in with orange juice, otherwise you can not defeat the Gays. even with extensive vocab study.

Good luck with that. Although, you would probably have better luck convincing the world if this was 1970. Why must you put down an entire group of people just because you can't win at scrabble?

Seek out the scrabble masters, they shall teach ye the true art of the word and ye shall reign all powerful! Be warned! The road is long and tiresome, you must slay the alphabet dragon, defeat the grammar goblins, and get past the maze of literacy in the forest of spelling. I wish you luck.
