All people do and say stupid things, me and all of you. When you are at work you know your environment and job VERY well. When someone else comes to your place of employment they aren't as familiar with the same things that you are.
I work in a hospital and I hear the funniest questions. I am amazed how little people know about the human body. I consider myself pretty smart in that field, but if I was in a tool store I'd be clueless. The hardware people would think I was stupid because I don't know the difference between a Phillips screwdriver and a regular one. I do know the difference, but I'm using that as an example.
Some people get nervous when they don't know what to expect, therefor they say and do stupid things.
Not all people fit into this category. Many people are just plain stupid, but many are not.

I have no idea but the number seems staggering.The only stupid people I am aware of right now are the ones on Answers that make you crazy, know who I'm talking about? Watch out for them. Never lay your heart out for these clowns. Sour news, I'm sure. But the Avatars and especially the silhouettes are especially suspect. Other "serious" categories are full of Fakers. And that's the truth! Good Luck Avoiding Them!!

Far too many. Luckily, I have a lot of pull in my office so if someone can't hack it, they don't stay employed with me. However, that barely cuts down on the level of stupidity that I am forced to deal with in every aspect of my life.

I work with about 6 people and I would have to say that 4 of them fit into that catagory. It's like the commercial with all the chimpanzees in the office.

you just would have no idea how many stupid people i deal with in one days time i work in the public and with alot of people who dont want to work its really kind of sad how many there really are out there

You will be amazed! It starts off in the morning driving to work... Some drivers are such morons driving that sometimes i wish to get out of my car run to theirs and throw something at them... since i cant i end up talking to myself! Then i get to the office and all day long i deal w/ a whole bunch of retards... Its amazing i still have my sanity!

I work in retail . Its like the momment the customer walks through the door and the flourescent lights hits them , they are drained of 90% of thier intelligence .

probable 75 to 100.........I work for inventory control department in a global corporation at this time and half the people I deal with amaze me with their stupidity!!
