Why would you even want to try? There are so called (waste of money) things you can try at the local parts store but I would save my money and just fix it properly.Depending on the type car/truck it is you might be able to do the work yourself but the right tools and a good book on that car/truck is needed. The bolts need to be tighted down in order and to the right amount that is what the book is for. You will need to borrow or buy a torque wrench for that. If your not 100% sure you can fix the problem call a shop or ask a friend...I have seen more than one ride sit because someone thought it was not to hard -for some it might not be but for others they will never get it running again. Nothing wrong with being honest with ones self.

Sodium Silicate AKA Liguid glass. Of Course this depends on the severity of the leak. I have used this in the past for minor leaks in blocks and head gaskets, and have even sealed freeze plugs and radiators, but you never know how long it will last. I think K&N sells a formula in a can. This information I am giving is not intended for illegal or immoral practices. I used to be dirt poor(still poor)but that is what I had to do to get by until I could afford to make a proper repair.

No such thing as a temporary fix for a head gasket. Change it, it's not that hard a job. Just make sure you use a torque wrench to set it right, and tighten the bolts in the proper sequence.

you can't temporarily fix a head gasket , and if you keep driving with bad gaskets you will cause major internal damage to your engine, get a good mechanic to do it right. shade tree won't work, it's alot involved in doing head gaskets.

K&W makes a stop leak called block sealer check at any local parts store they should either have it or can get it. Make sure to follow directions it's not like Bars Leak just pour in and forget it. You have to add it then run car at operating temp for a while then drain system and let set overnight. I have seen it last for 3 months.

if your gasket is stuffed, you will have to pull the head off and change the gasket. you could just put a strong glue around where the leak is, but its really not the greatest solution and probably wouldn't last long due to the heat. it depends on how long you want your 'temporary fix' to last.

there is no temp. fix. either fix it, or run it and ruin your engine.
it is such a major job to fix, it is not worth having to redo it.
blown head gasket- coolant mixes in with the engine oil. have to take off carburetor/fuel injection system, intake manifold, usually take out distributor, among other things. it is big job.

The only reason I can think of anyone wanting to do a temp fix is that they want to sell someone else their problems. so, no answer from me.

You cant, you need to get if replaced. Check and see if your oil is milky, because usually the water gets in your oil.
