Usually you would tap your friend on the shoulder, wait till he turned to face you, and then ask his opinion about a topic or for some fact you think he might know. You would then repeat that with some more of your friends. Then you would sit back and think about who was kidding you, who is too dumb to know, who just wants to do a rant without replying correctly, and who you should really believe.
It is just like Yahoo Answers except you didn't use a computer.
