She is dead. No pulse. No vitals. Nada.
So you are thinking how can this be? Easy they need her dead so that she can talk to the dead.
Her mother was sedate when last seen. Her mother is never sedate. Sedated but never sedate.
Meredith is drowning and she says people fade away and the image is of her mother.
She says she has more to say, she is talking about to her mother, the words she could not say before her mother slipped back into her Alzhiemers.
So they both die to say their I love yous and Meredith is miracly able to come back to life. My guess is Derek says something to her and she comes back to life.
Everybody freaks out and starts to work on her once more.
Then again it would be funny if Christina was the one who Meredith responds to. After all she is her person.

Meredith can't die! The shows named after her. I think she will bring back messages from Denny and others for the surviving and her and Derek will get married. I hope that's what happens. If she dies I'm going to cry through the whole show!!

Since the name of the show is "Grey's Anatomy". I believe that was a stunt to get the public to continue to watch and I don't it will affect the show one bit.

Well, I have already decided that if she is in fact dead and is going to do the "dead person talking" through every episode like Desperate Housewives, that I am not watching anymore.

I dont think she is dead...I mean she is the star after all...Thursday night's show was just amazing..I mean..how can tv be that good? it honestly doesn't get any better then that for me...i was just on the edge of my seat the whole time..man three parters kill me lol...but no..she can't die..I don't think she will..I believe ;)

I definetly don;t think they are going to kill her off. I mean, it is called :grey anatomy" BUT they did say the devestating conclusion

They cant killer her off it would destroy Derek plus it would have to be the series finale
