Has anyone seen this movie? is it worth renting?

i got the dvd and to be honest i was a bit bored by it, that i didnt even bother watching the entire movie. but i guess its just not my type of movie.

if you are into that kind of country/musical thing, then you should definitely watch it and dont listen to what i said. but as for me, i just didnt get it.

We (I and my family) rented it. It was quirky. Kept waiting for the plot to begin. 3/4 of the way through th movie, we realized that this IS the plot. And then it ended. We discussed it for two days. It wasn't worth the time. Great cast. Still can't figure out why they agreed to make this movie.

I really enjoyed the movie. Dont go in expecting an "A Few Good Men" stage show conversion into movie. It's definitely a theatrical piece that only happens to be recorded on celluloid.

Yes I have and yes it is; I wouldn't call it a four star flick but it's worth the price of a rental.

I listen to the radio show frequently. Hated the movie.
