Ok.. so I work with this guy.. he is a consultant at my company so not an actually employee. We are friends at work and chat all the time. But anyways...
So time #1. Out drinking at Happy hour. We are continuously chatting and drinking. As the night goes on we are talking more and more and then he gets a little touchy. Discreetly rubbing my leg as we stand next each other. Then at the end of the night he asks me back to his hotel. I said "no" and then he asked if we could go out later in the week. We both had lots to drink but I completely remember the whole thing. Next day at work he avoids me and acts weird for the next few weeks. We still aren't friends like we were.
2 weeks ago. went out again for an event. After the event and drinking at a bar.. we are heading back and he starts to discreetly rub my leg again.. and then txts me when I get home saying... how much fun he had.
So what's his deal? Why does he flirt when we drink and tense up after?

Some people become the person the want to be with a few drinks in them and I believe after a few drinks in him he has his power levels up to make his move on you and afterwards feel sick about it. If you like this guys maybe you should ask him for coffee and talk it over with him.

It seems to me like he gets a little too lose when hes drinking and it probably gets him into trouble at times. He was obviously embarrassed by his actions at the bar and didn't know how to approach you the next day. I wouldn't put too much thought into someone like that until you have gone on a real date with him, minus the drinking. Some people go on an impulse when drunk and seem really fun but in sobriety they can be really dull. Brush him out of your mind. I think you know what he might really want and what woman wants to deal with that?? Good luck.

Lola, you sound a useless ringer for my sister, settle for no less than she isn't married! Somewhere you left out some vital information. Did you sleep with him? Have sex? If so, then I totally understand why he's avoiding you in the office. How embarassing. He's a casual affair, not the real deal.And he doesn't want anything more from you than your body.
