my apologizes for the wiccan if I offend you.
I've known little about wiccan and i ask you this for studying paganism cultures and their rituals, including spells and curses.

Some Wiccans do cast curses. The book "Mastering Witchcraft" by Paul Huson (one of the older books on Wicca) has a whole chapter on in it, as well as a chapter on counter magic and protection. No two Wiccans think alike, so it's impossible to say that none of them practice hexes and curses.

Wiccans usually don't do curse spells because of the Wiccan Rede. I know a few benign spells, but even these have come back on me threefold. Tell ya what, being put on the shelf for 13 freaking years taught me NOT to do THOSE kinds of spells ever again!

In general wiccans do not curse. That is not to say a provoked wiccan will never curse someone. When I was a wiccan, and someone did something so dispicable that they needed the whammy... they got the whammy. It is not done willy nilly for petty reasons like "you stole my boyfriend" or "you scratched my car". If you are willing to accept the consequences of your actions, then I feel it is ok to curse someone for rape, murder, intent to harm my children, ect... DO not provoke a mother bear! she does have the power to remove your head!
Most neo-wiccans say "you can't curse because the rede says so" That is a bunch of hooey! You can do what ever you want as long as you are ready & willing to accept the consequenses for your actions.
I am most definately not a wiccan, but I was trained wiccan in a couple of different traditions, and every one of my High Priestesses backed me up when I felt that I needed to put the whammy on someone.
What most neo-wiccans don't seem to understand is that the rede is not "the law." It is simply a good piece of advice, to keep your butt out of the fire...
My whammy's worked, they worked really well...but here is the rub, I have been a witch for 21 years, I have had lots of practice in the areas of spell craft, energy raising, grounding, centering, I am versed in planetary timing and timing on the wheel of the year I understand the witches pyramid & I act in accord.
A spell is not like a recipie, you can't just gather up the ingredients, say the magic words & poof your wish comes true... before you work on curses, study up on a few magical systems, the ethics involved in working with such systems, try sigil work, or runes, or root work, learn the in's & out's and record your experiments. We learn just as much from our failures as we do our successes. You don't just curse someone because you "hate" them... you need a better reason than that...

Wicca is not evil, curses are evil, You don't want those spells, Don't go messing in something that you don't understand. Even those who have been preforming spells for a long time don't do some because of the power behind them. You want to be careful with something that you don't know, because in this case it could turn out very badly.

Two things.
First: Wiccans, as a rule, don't curse people we hate. The Wiccan Rede ("If you harm none, do what you will") strongly suggests that we do not do so. And the Law of Threefold Return ("Whatever you do, for good or ill, comes back on you three times over") DEFINITELY suggests that deliberately causing harm to others is a bad idea.
Second: In my experience, harmful actions like a curse result in a huge karmic kick in the *ss. My advice to you is don't do it. It's okay to be angry at people or to dislike them. Doing something to harm them is something else entirely.

Just remember - what ever evil you put out comes back 3 fold. That's in every faith and religion ;)
It takes so much more energy to hate then to just be a better person - and know this - that the more attention you pay to someone whose hurt you the more you validate their hold on you.

You should never do spells for any reason other than to help. You have to remember that everything you do in life...Good and Bad will come back to you times three. So all the bad things you wish on others will come back to you times three...

Just remember, what goes around comes around. Someone at a place I worked at did that to several people. Nothing at all happened to them, but, it did bite the girl in the rear on her way out the door!

The first rule about witchcraft...is
Whatever you do to someone it comes back to you 3 times worse...so therefore..why would we want to curse anyone?
Be careful what you mess with...
