I have a new friend and I want to get to know them better, because they are really nice and a cool person to hang out with. What should I do to get closer to them?

Just so you know I don't want to go out with them or anything, I just want to know how to strengthen our friendship.

Just be yourself.
You dont have to prove anything to be closer to them.
If there's chemistry between you then the friendship will click.
If not, that only means you're not meant to be close friends.
Actually, being close is not an assurance that the person can be your "real/true friend"- in the sense of the word.
True friendship comes from that heart- it's more on being sincere and truthful to the other, accepting the person as what they are and not as what you want them to be.
Showing them that you are concern is another.
Friendship is sharing and being with them not just in laughter but most importantly in times of trouble.
Little things count a lot so just be the real best friend that you can be!

aw, well definately try telling them more about you,
nothing too personal but the basics about you. make
them know that they`re important people to you (:
try going places with them, people are different @

i know excatly what youre talking about. just take it slow and try not to act desperate. eventually you guyys will be closer and closer.

call them 4 a movies, diner, mall etc. take them out of school (or where evr u met them )and go somewhwere else with them.
