A pimple is a result of a blockage of the skin's pore.

Inside the pore are sebaceous glands which produce sticky sebum. When the outer layers of skin shed (as it does continuously), the dead skin cells left behind may become 'glued' together by the sticky sebum. This causes a blockage in the pore. The sebaceous glands produce more sebum which builds up behind the blockage, and this sebum harbours bacteria (P.Acnes bacteria). Since the body's natural defence against bacteria is primarily phagocytes (white blood cells), these rush to the site behind the blockage (where the bacteria are). This is what gives some pimples the 'whiteheads' (unless the Phagocytes are deeper in the skin, which means you can't see the 'white' caused by them). The white blood cells then destroy (by phagocytosis) the bacteria to prevent infection

They are caused by bacteria. Clean with witch hazel and 1 cotton ball for each pimple and a dab of antibacterail ointment on each. Wash hands well before and after touching your face. Do not rub when washing or drying your face, pat it dry. Use a really light moisturizer and don't spreas where the pimples are, avoid them. Use a sunscreen every day of the year. Something like oil of olay has one built in or some ponds products. Good luck. Try not to touch your face during the day when your hands aren't washed. Change your pillow case often too.

Why would you wanna get pimples? You can get pimples from poor diet, bad make up, oily skin thats not taken care of. There's a lot of internal reasons such as hormones too!

over production of sebum (the natural oil) in skin...it builds up and clogs pores...the pimple is an inflamation resulting from the blocked pore...u don't really get them from eating greasy foods...they can be hereditary...or even a slight horomone level change can cause them...u get rid of them by cleansing nite n day with a light foaming cleanser...or if they r bad then a dermatologist can prescribe something for it.

Well, why do you want them? Anyway, don't wash your face and you can eat a lot and I mean a lot of chocolate and get them, or use some facial cream that gives you an allergic reaction to you skin.

put lots of oil on your face, eat stuff with iodine, and put makeup (foundation and blush) on your face without washing it off. make sure the makeup isn't oil-free or non-comedogenic. Exercise a lot and don't wash your face. don't exfoliate or use masks on your face. take medicine that has androgens. Itch your face a lot.
