this leads to bacteria that become resistent to antibiotics. lots of antibiotics now are not effective because of other peoples abuse of the drug. soon antibiotics wont work on us and we will end up going back to the days when antibiotics were not discovered and people died over the simplest diseases

Good question but i believe alot of people think that they are deathly sick and they only have a cold that they can beat but they go to the doctor and dramatize it and end up getting antibotics..

I have even heard of doctors giving refills on them for "just in case" and then people use them when the feel like they are getting sick, they dont realize that they become resistant and dont work.. they need to become better informed.

It's all about evolution, bacteria are a very virile organism that will fight to survive, they will become resistant to what ever we can throw at them it's all part of the game.

i never heard of abusing them. i have heard of over using them. it is not them it is the moronic doctors that they go to that over perscribe them. if more people looked into natural remidies this could help eradicate this problem.
