Well, everybody will have a different opinion. You can't say the best genre because of course somebody will disagree with your opinion, and some will agree.
But for me:
I like all kinds of music. Rap to country! I just love music overall ;).

Well then choose ONE becasue only one can be the BEST, right? Can you give us the objective criteria of what constitutes a good genre of music? Because there can not be a "better" or the "best" genre if we have no criteria to use to evaluate them.
Hint: there is no "best" or "worst" in art. Everyone is best at what they do, whether you like it or not.

I really love classic punk...but I don't think there is a "best genre" everyone is going to like different things, thats the beauty of diversity.

If you take a look at my cd collection you would see that I love all genres of music. Techno, Country, Rap, Pop, Screamo, Dance, you name it and I probably have a cd with it on there.
