Is it normal to think about the same sex with interest and not be bisexual or gay?

Being attracted to the opposite sex is pretty much the definition of gay/bi. There are many degrees of gay, you seem to be one of the lowest levels, interest and attraction but no desire to act on it. It is pretty common, psychologists say that the majority of people are at least a little gay.

Yes, it is normal. Everyone goes through a point in life where they question their own sexuality. Especially, pre-teens and teens. I'm straight but not narrow minded. I personally can find other women very beautiful and sensual, but that doesn't mean I want to sleep with them...and if I did, I wouldn't say that's abnormal either. So, don't worry...it's normal...just a lot of people don't want to admit it.

Kinsey theorized that sexuality is not compartmentalized. Instead, it's more of a continuum, where the labels 'gay', and 'straight' define the endpoints, and 'bi' labels the midpoint. Where you draw the boundaries between those labels is somewhat of an arbitrary semantic distinction.

Explain a little more in detail? As long as you are friends with the other person. It's okay to have same interest, but on the other hand are you questioning about your own identity or sexual preference? Depends on the individual doesn't it?

well, i think that because everyone is raised in a straight- is- normal culture, and the only natural way to be, the folks who are truely gay or lesbian must fumble through all the conditioning (straight-only greetings cards, ect) and decide if they want to confront the range of issues we lesbians and gays live with as everyday life. soooo. i think there's a plethra of gays and lesbians who struggle with the "ok-ness" of same-GENDER sexual feelings. i guess my condensed answer would be...it would not be normal.(ur gay if u have those interests- or mabey bi...)

I think it is normal. I can think a girl is hot without wanting to have sex with her. We aren't blind and all have ideas about what we see as attractive in both males and females.

Anything you, as a human being, will think during your lifetime, is normal. Go with the flow.

depends. If you think that they are so attarctive and they are the same gender then u are gay/lesbian. If u are just thinking of them and wanting to be their friends only then ur fine.
