On a very cold day, why does a horse's tongue not stick on a metal pole (like a human's would)?

Yes, it would. But horses are smart enough not to do it, unlike Flick.

how would u know that?have u actually made a horse stick out it's tongue and lick a pole? O.o

I have seen a horse do it and it doesn't stick I was wondering the same thing
