depending on who's making them, maufacturer's inject them by machine and specialty shops do it by hand.

candies are made with 2 hollow parts. then jam is put into one side. the other hollow side is places on top. then a light coating of chocolate is poured over the entire candy toseal the 2 sides together. some candies dont get the sealing layer and are just slightly melted around the seam. you can still see the seam when you lookat the candy.

willie wonka gets the oompa loompas to sneeze into containers they are then turned into booger-jam and inserted by a machine into green lollypops so they look like candy...and then the rock candy is made by hard burgers covered in sugar...LOL I think thats funny ha im so stupid i laugh at my own joke...
