at present he is at a peak but he cannot complete his half centuries into a hundred

I doubt if he at his peak but certainly he is doing much better then the last time he was in the team as a captain before getting dropped
and speaking of peaking his batting, i have seen better innings from ganguly from this
I just wish he peaks at the right time which means at the world cup

No, he has to grab the captainship back from Dravid - The perfect pet of the politician Greg Chapell.
Now if he keeps Sehwag away and takes Kaif in his team till the end of world cup then what harm The team would be even better.

Back to the topic...and he (Ganguly) has to score at least 10 centuries in 2007.

Ganguly at his peak will be far different than the Ganguly we find now. He is slowly and stadiily coming to his peak form.
