American here... Don't despise Muslims as a whole.

I think the dislike that is expressed by some is in response to the "nutcases", who identify themselves as Muslim, who have attacked, voiced support for attacks, or promised future attacks against America(ns).

I also think that it is natural within most social structures to "despise" a group with whom your country is at war as a way to show support for the country. Note - I'm not saying it's right, just within a normal range of response.

A few nutcases? Are you aware that most conflicts around the world involve Muslim savages against non-Muslim people? They flock to countries without any intent of assimilation, and immediately butt heads with the natives. Islam is a religion of the sword.

It's not the Muslims themselves that they hate, it's the religion that they represent, and the power that religion holds over all Muslims, there is not one Muslim out there that put in the right circumstances would kill if told to, and nothing will convince me otherwise, It's a violent religion and it continues to be so, you can not take away what is written in the Koran, and all Muslims embrace that religious and violent concept, while on the other hand call themselves peaceful, you can not be violent and peaceful at the same time.

I agree with you..I think thats just how people are in general. It's not there fault thats just how things work. Media and government makes it even worse.... not every one is like that though. In my school i know a bunch of people who love me and actually stand up for me when some kids say some thing about me. Just last year we had a huge thing in class when some one said behind my back that Is should go where I came from ( because I said no when he asked me to prom) and my other friend was like no.... He totally defended me which felt good...

Well, you answer should be in some of the answers you receive. Ignorance and egocentric points of view.

Mostly, I think Americans are victims of the media and our own government. If our government can make us hate the Muslims, we will not object to our soldiers blowing them away. We are being told to dehumanize others.

whats up, I stay in the united kingdom and that i presumed i'd maximum ideal you on some issues; Christianity is the most important idea in the united kingdom. Islam is 0.33 (round 3%) and Atheism is second (round 20%). i don't think of u . s . of america as an finished is basically too religiously illiberal... i imagine that the competition isn't in route of the mosque yet more beneficial in route of the position it is being equipped. yet there is not any guidelines hostile to having it equipped there, even no matter if it is fairly... distasteful...

You guys worship a false god. There's bound to be some distrust there. And the terrorists blowing civilians with masses praising them might also do with it.
