Yep, I love my chia and so do my kids. We have success growing it on the head, but after I carefully peal it off and plant it in soil, it dies. And, I cannot find a website for chia pets. There are websites about chia pets but none that contain info about repotting. Have you had any luck keeping it alive in soil? Thanks! Lisa

When you peal the chia off of the head you are effectively damaging the roots that have grown into the clay of the head. Try planting the seeds directly in potting soil or peat moss. I did a little research and discovered the seeds used for chias are Salvia columbariae. good luck
