Not No Nonesense and L'eggs. Any others? Not expensive, please, just basic daily wear and will actually last more than a wearing or two.

I'll look for l'eggs with reinforced toe but don't think I've seen those around for many moons. Did *not* know about not drying the knee highs. Makes sense.

Try going to T.J. Maxx or Marshall's and buying Givenchy or Charles Jourdan knee highs on sale, some times they mark them down to 99 cents a pair. The Jourdan's last-I've had some for at least 6 months. the Givenchy's even longer. The colors are usually discontinued ones-but the same nude year after year-so it doesn't really matter.

I was having the same problem with knee highs...I realized that L'eggs knee highs with "reinforced toe" will last. It depends on where they rip...mine were ripping at the toe, so that's why buying reinforced toe helped. Also, when you wash them, don't put them in the dryer because it'll wear them down quicker...air dry them instead.

Not sure about knee highs but Victoria's Secret has awesome thigh highs. They last FOREVER!! Well worth the money!
