my posture is not great and have frequent back aches

Parkinson disease is supposed to be incurable. But, there is no limit for the power of Yoga. Try to consult a yoga expert or write to Baba Ramdev's Ashram. Drink Noni herbal fruit juice which helps the brain to activate all the cells.

I'm sorry to hear that. Probably from the strain of trying not to shake and twitch. Are you on Levadopa? Maybe your dose needs to be adjusted?

Exercises can always help. As long as you can do it safely (I don't know how progressed your condition is). I would start with walking. Stand straight and walk briskly, keeping your shoulders back and your stomach sucked in. Also abdominal crunches will help. When your stomach muscles are strong, it takes a lot of pressure off your back.

Read The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook by Davies for help with muscles. It teaches you how to help yourself but can be used in combination with health care.

i used totake care of a man with Parkinsons as well as my grandfather......physical therapy has helped wonders as well as massages and such. good luck
