doubled, you are both worried or thinking about it

Apparently it looks like the question - "If it takes one person 30 minutes to walk from point A to point B, how much time it would take for 3 persons". The answer is "same 30 minutes".

However when we share this task with friends some one might be able to show a shortcut way between point A and B.

depends on the circumstances, usually its shared, but then it can become doubled, unless the person you share it with is really good at fixing problems and then it could be halved or even just plain solved

If the person you share it with helps you to overcome it, then it's halved. If they make it their own, however, then it's doubled.

Maybe both -- a paradox. It's easier to deal with a problem if you have someone to share it with, and sometimes the process of sharing it helps you to find a solution. But sharing the problem means that there are now two people concerned about it, instead of one. Even so, I'd rather my friends shared their problems with me, even if it adds to my worries, if it helps to relieve theirs.

it depends what sort of problem.
if you share your HIV or something- I am pretty sure it doubles.

but problems of the soul, more abstract- once shares are normally halved.
unless maybe you share it with the wrong peson or at the wrong time. but will still be a load removed

properly, costly, shall we communicate bearing directly to the problem. now's it organic and organic in nature? simply by fact then i'm afraid it ought to be doubled or possibly tripled... or who knows how a great way out of hand it ought to get. Oh my, how distressing.... shall we communicate approximately some thing else.

a problem shared is just that. the same problem. sharing it doesnt necessarily increase or decrease it. the other person could possibly forget what was told to him/her or, just is willing to listen only. what is done with or about the problem could change its "size" perhaps, but if nothing is done about the problem it doesnt change "size"

It is simply a problem shared.

Eh? perhaps it is reduced in status? it becomes a problem-ette sort of diminished ? it might not be, but, then again it is all in the word/s used.

It depends on the problem, but a problem is a problem.
