I have tried a few of biore product but it didn't do the trick for me. I used the scrub and the strips and neither actually accomplished soemthing. In my opinion, save up the money and then buy somethign more expensive that will actually work. The over the counter things havent really dont much but irritate my skin. I tried like everything in drugstores...clean and clear, clearasil, biore...

I did use the tea tree oil line from the body shop. It's natural, not expensive, and healed my face over some time. Try that, it should cost the same as biore. And if you do, buy the mask... it's amazing.
Good luck!

For me it didn't do anything with my pores. Maybe cleaned them out a little and made them a little less noticeable, but otherwise it didn't do much. I suppose it might depend on your skin type--how oily, how dirty, the acne, etc. I tend to be the very oily kind.

I highly recommend Neutrogena oil free acne cream cleanser. It makes your skin very soft, and it keeps the oil off most of the day (and my face usually has a lot of oil on it). My dermatologist even recommends this.

When I was growing up I used those acne pad products that come in those circular jars, like by Stridex and Neutrogena and Clearisil, and they did a pretty good job, although they do dry your skin out a bit. You might want to try that Clearisil Ultra cream, but remember--only put a SMALL amount on the current zit. It'll dry it out a lot, but reduce redness/swelling. Don't smear it all over your face or you'll get severe drying. If you pick up something like these, definately get a good moisturizer as well. (I've tried them all.)

Usually when over the counter products stop working, it's time to see a dermatologist, which isn't such a bad thing--I had to see a dermatologist recently (kept my acne under control for 5+ years), and the pills are very effective. Already people are noticing my face is less greasy, my acne is drying out. Just if you need to, don't be afraid to visit one. You can even get the kind of prescription I'm on from a regular doctor.

As for the pores, you might wanna try those pore removal strips--people seem to regard those highly. I haven't yet had a chance to try them. My mom lives by the panoxyl bar (a bar of soap you wash with). It's a lot like the Neutrogena cream, but I still prefer the cream.

I have not tried the biore stuff but my sister has and she didn't really like them. What I use is neutrogena rapid clear (like 6 bucks) and that helped me alot. I do kickboxing and weight training so I used to break out alot. Now my skin is clear. I use that if I feel a break-out comming on but I johnson and johnson shea and cocoa butter baby soap (like 4 bucks) on normal days. I figure it's safe enough for babies, why not my face?!? Good luck. :o)

The biore pore minimizer does not work at all.
