No. A peekaboo pole is not for tricks. Even on the box, it is labeled as an adult novelty toy.

As long as it is correctly installed (which is easy enough to do) and you do not weigh more than the pole's max weight capacity, there's nothing wrong with a Lil Mynx. It's the most affordable (safe) pole on the market. X Pole, as someone mentioned, is great too, but a little pricey.

I own a pole dancing studio in Washington state, and I have 11 poles. All of which are Platinum Stages, 6 of them are "Super Pole" the removable model. I DEFINITELY wouldn't trust the peekaboo pole. It's really not a sturdy design. Check out Platinum Stages "Super Pole"

Happy dancing!

NO! NO! NO! NO! this is NOT an actual Dance Pole. If you read the manufactures disclaimer, it simply states that You can not use this pole to do tricks. This is what everyone calls a Prance Pole, Meaning.. You just walk around it, you can not climb it or anything of that nature. It is like a shower Curtain Rod. If you want a Real Dance Pole go to this website.

But if you want a cheap pole that is not sturdy and is considered as a "Toy" then go with your first choice.

Personally, I think it sounds really dangerous and not responsable to have.
If you want a pole, get an X pole. (NOT lil' minx)
If you want to pole dance, get a good pole, otherwie, it will fall and you will probably get really hurt.
