Well many killers are desensetized, as in they were unable to form connections as children and continued that way into adulthood. Maybe they had parents who were alcoholics or abusers. There are many reasons. Well, say serial killers. There are many types and sub-types of them. Most people think of serial killers as the people displayed on CSI and other similar shows, but there are quite a few other types. Believe it or not most of them think of themselves as good people. For example, there are some that seek a certain group such as prostitutes or abortion doctors. They see their killings as a mission to make the world a better place. Others, like death angels might believe that they are helping someone ( like a patient - take the pain away)...and then there is a benefit of full control of the other. wow there is so much to say about this topic...sorry for boring you.

Bottom line, a lot of them are driven my exaggerated human drives and wishes. All of us have them, but be don't act upon them. These drives in killers are more intense.

Most murderers think that they are doing right because in thier view, the murdered person has done something really bad. Others that kill people don't actually think that its ok, but they do it because they become really mad and lose control of what they do. I believe that there are also some cases in which the person has Megalo Manium (a brain disorder that makes people think that they are king of the world) and thinks that he/she can do whatever they want. Of course, no matter what excuses there are, it is never right to kill someone unless they are exceptionally and inexplicably evil, such as Adolf Hitler.

They are desensitized probably from video games or the media while their minds were being shaped as small children or they have unforgiveness inside them to where they vow revenge and think that the people they hurt deserved it.
