I've played in two different Christian praise bands in the last seven years. Here are a few of my favorites.
*"I Could Sing Of Your Love Forever" by Delirious?
*"His Strength Is Perfect" by Steven Curtis Chapman (just about everything he does is great)
*"Abba (Father) by Rebecca St. James
*"Oh Lord, You're Beautiful" by Keith Green (other artists have probably recorded this too)
*Just about anything written or recorded by the Newsboys
*"Beauty for Ashes" by Crystal Lewis
*"Crucified with Christ" by Philips, Craig & Dean
*"Say the Name" by Martha Munizzi (the entire album)
*"I Can Only Imagine" by Mercyme
You might also want to check out albums from people like Rich Mullins, Twila Paris, Audio Adrenaline, Jars of Clay, or Michael W. Smith. There are lots of others. Christian songs aren't just for rock musicans either. Right now my band is working on some songs by Randy Travis, from his CD "Rise & Shine".

Those are rock bands, but here are some other good artists.
Barlow Girl, Casting Crowns, Racheal Lampa, Rebecca St. James, ZOEgirl, Eleventyseven.

I really like SonicFlood. Most of their songs are up tempo. Also Building 429 is really good. It depends on what you consider "rock" also. You can always listen to Third Day as well.
