It wasn't a real MBA baseball game,it was a charity baseball game and one of my friends that I haven't seen in about 3 years hit a home run.I mean I was standing right behind him next up to bat the ball,I seen the pitch,and he smacked it hard and I ran up to see the ball go over the fence.It seemed so real. I have been playing basketball lately,not even really thinking about baseball. Also I said to him,"Do you realize you just hit a home run in Yankee Stadium?",and he shrugged it off like it was nothing. He wasn't wearing a uniform or anything, a dress shirt,for nightclubbin' shirt,and I said ,"Aren't you going to run the bases?" ,and he said "nah that is just for kids".I don't have to ,it's a home run.
I remember feeling a little jealous in the dream also,and worried that I wouldn't do as well when my turn was up for bat. Anyway ,then I woke up so I don't know how I would have done at the plate.
Does anyone know what that means?

you chose baseball as "the game" because it's something you haven't thought about in a while. Yankee Stadium because it's a place you recognize that lots of people go to...
an "old friend" (you in disguise) is telling you to quit taking the concerns of life (charity = needy/concerns) so seriously. take a swing to do your best (hitting a homer) but don't be so anal (don't have touch all the bases) and don't just keep living on automatic pilot-doing things just because it's expected (running bases in general)...always playing by "the rules".
going out night clubbing could represent a step towards maturity (night activity) in wanting to add more balance to your life (day + night). you felt "jealous" because deep-down you know you've been too serious lately and you're "wanting" to have more fun, to be more expressive (a clubbing shirt, not a standard uniform) ...
then you "woke up" when it was your turn. means now the time ... enjoy!

I see that dream as a expression of sexuality. You must like this guy pretty much and you put him up on a nocturnal pedestal. If he had been less than a real friend to you, he would have not hit a home run. Yankee Stadium just puts the "icing on the cake" so to speak.
However, I would not let my diagnosis bother you. It is not a dream of desire but of admiration, I believe.
