make your very own organic top soil. go find a farmer as for some cow poop. ad some sand and your in like flint. heck you have dirt right???? why pay for such things when you make it better for dang near free. also if you drink coffee toss your ground where you want a garden. same with dirty dish water. then start a place in your yard where you can toss your left overs grass clippings leaves doggy doodoo's and stuff every ,onth or so take a pitch fork and rotate this. next year youll have great compost.

LOL...... You are a nut. Buy it from me. You know you feel good types would ruin the planet if you were not outnumbered by thinking people. If everyone just ate organic food it would be an ecological disaster as well as a humanitarian one. You would have to plant every available acre on earth just to fall short of what farmers produce now with chemicals- fertilizers and pesticides. People would starve and thousands of plant and animal species would become extinct just so you nuts could feel so superior about eating organic. Grow up and try to think for a change.

You could always try a farmer near by. chances are he has a nice organic compost out back and will let you have a few bucketfuls for free. I have horses and bunnies and my neighbors gardens are filled with my compost. free for the taking...good luck.
