how do you transfer stuff thats on a dvd on to your computer?

i burned stuff from my video camera onto a dvd and now i cant download it on my comp

First determine if your computer has software/hardware to accomodate a DVD. Some only work with CD's.
If its ok....Put your DVD into your computer's D or E drive, (which ever one is targeted for DVD funciton. if you don't have one, you can't do this) then open the file by double clicking on the drive name. Then open any file you see on the DVD. Once its open, go up to FILE and click on SAVE AS...
Then select a your C drive, and click save. It will save to your C drive. Or you can select other file in the C Drive to save it in.. like maybe MY VIDEOS.
