Odd question, left something out don't you think. However, lets see what comes to mind. "stars in their eyes". Perhaps this could be a sparkle that one would give to another, which would be perceived as the lighting of ones eyes, bringing to ones vision a thought or concept that struck them so much as to dazzle them with bright, lights, like stars in their eyes.

Could also mean that putting stars in their eyes, gives them an up lifted concept of their awareness of life, love, adventure, quest, journey, etc. that would give them inner strength beyond even their own ability til you "put stars in their eyes."

I love to see a person with such sparkle as to light up their eyes, their face and that of all those they are next to.
