Why is it that people are quick to put down other countires as for things that they are doing themselves? I mean people claim the US us obese, etc when there are tons of countries whose people are fat too. Why so people so ignorant as to assume that everyone is the same due to a few people? Why are people so quick to hate on others for the same things they are commiting the same acts that they hate the other person for? Why cant people take a look at themselves first and fix themselves before making such stupid and ignorant assumptions?

Pointing out flaws in oneself is oftentimes one of the hardest things a person can do. Many think it makes them look weak, when it actually makes them a stronger person. Also, people are hypocrites, most of the time without even realizing it. They are quick to point out he flaws of others, and slow to acknowledge their own.

Absolutely correct. We are human beings and not animals who can be generalised by characters of a sample set. You too followed the generalization fundamental as you mentioned taht people do it. See that's the humna tendency. Study a sample and infer from that. This is the reason taht makes the whole world so complex. We tend to think that we know everything about them based on these assumptions.

it is a human tendency... there are racial discrimination... colour of skin, religion, nationality and any thing that differs from one peoples to the other... comments on obesity is one of such human tendencies... just ignore it and... take care of yourself...
