It is cute, I do like it alot, but I dont think its good to actually name your kid Ryder. Only bc of the teasing. I think its one of those things that sound real nice but will have bad effects. How about it as a middle name?

I think it's cute and unique name. But at the same time not so out there that it will garner the child merciless teasing on the school yard. I always feel sorry for children of stars that suffer with names like Apple, Phineas, Inspektor. It's even more local..I went to school with a Theobald, I am pretty sure he changed it legally in high school..poor kid!

i think its ridiculous, it says mountains about the parents need to draw attention to themselves for trying to be better than everyone else, why not paul,tommy,bobby, james shawn, chris there are a million names but ryder why not uhaul give me a break
