If another war breaks out in lebanon the christians may be forced to leave because of lack of protection and safety. The sunnis have the majority of the arab countries in the middle east to back them up and the shia have iran. The only option for the christians may be to leave lebanon the same fate palestinian coptic and chaldean christians had to leave their homelands.

That's a likely scenario, but not in 20 - 30 years, that's too short.

We (christian) went from being the majority to becoming the minority in the past century, but not only because of the war.

1- The christian Lebanese seems to be more financially demanding, needing higher education and higher standard living which forced many to migrate to lands with more opportunities.

2- On the overall, Moslem families have been having more children ( 3 to 4 times more than christians) which has tipped the population balance.

3- Very few leave lebanon because they are worried about the future of christians in Lebanon, this is nothing imminent.
I think we are talking at least a century which is a long time

But also, with the big anti-islamic movement in the world the future of Islam is just as uncertain. Also, maybe in a 100 years we would have acquired some brain, and we'll stop caring which God you worship and stop killing each other in the name of our religions.

No....
Christians will be always lebaneses..In spite of Iran or all the other arab countries.
As much as if that likes to the politicians or any otherpeople around..
Unluckily several families (as mine) have to go out of Lebanon, but always thinking to go back.
Christians were majority some years ago, and if lebanese christians from abroad go back, the majority will be christian again.
I agree in all with alab......Lebanese authorities denies the nationality to the direct descendents from lebanese christians.
Why are they doing that???
They say that so much papers were burnt during the war........but people outside Lebanon have their papers and the authorities dont recognize them
Why is that? Behind that,...there is politics, but meanwhile time is passing and most of us cant get our nationality.

Even......dont worry about Christians in Lebanon. Lebanon is a christian land, and not from now. The history is too much and no one will void christians.
Who knows where the rest of the world will be after 20 or 30 years??? World is crazy, and everything can change from one week to the other.

Peace!!!

The Christians percentage in Lebanon was 60% before the civil war , now it is less than 40%.They are immigrating and the rate of birth is low compared to Muslims ...
the solutions of this problem is to let the Lebanese immigrants attached to their home country by letting them vote 12 seats in the parliaments (6muslims,6christians)
Surprisingly, Hezbollah have accepted this with his deal with the Free Patriotic Movements. Is the Sunni and Druzes willing to give this law of election to the Christians?
Don't worry about the Christians of Lebanon ... They have survived 1500 years of invasions(Arabs and Turkish ...) , several wars ... and they will survive ... And will continue framing in One Lebanon where they will live peacefully with Muslims
PS:If you want to live in a place 100% Christians (you can live in Europe,USA...) if you want a country 100% Muslims go to Saudi Arabia or Iran .. of you believe that one country can unite Christians and Muslims ... Live in Lebanon ...

No that will never happen. The thing about Lebanon is that Sunnis are the people with the money, that is their number one priority and in order for them to remain as rich as they are they need the chritians who make much more money for the Sunnis then the Shiaas do. In other word Sunnis would not let the Shiaas "get rid of" christians.

Palestinians are not coptic, Egyptian christians are coptic. Palestinians had to leave their homeland because of the Jews.
Most of the christians in the middle east live in peace, contrary to popular belief.

What you said is compeltly true but don't you think in another 20-30 years Europe and the U.S.A will support the Christians in Lebanon which will also recieve protection from Italy because the Pope and other big Christians will not let this happen???

Dear curious asker,

In 20 - 30 years from now, there will only be cats in Lebanon. Why you ask? Okay, let quench your thirst for knowledge by answering (your question).

Well I have a black male cat. He is very good looking. He has fuzzy black hair. His tummy is white. I'm telling you, its cat season, and my cat has not let one female without getting on with her. I'm so proud of him. He marked his territory well and he doesn't take sh1t from no one.

Hope this helped.

i do not understand why you asking this question.

they are arabs and proude to be there, i know many families there they love lebanon and they work for good of the country.

i ask you, ever you benn worried about christians in Plaestine.

i am sure of the fact that this question is belonging to the propoganda war against isalm and muslims

dont worry, lebanese are lebanese no matter what they beleive in.

No...why do you say that...Lebanese Christians will stay in Lebanon forever. No one can make us leave...I adnit a lot of Christians have fled but their roots (parents, grandparents, immediate family) are still in Lebanon.
We don't need anyone to protect us, we have Jesus :)
