Where do Spanish teacher get paid the most?

Historically, public school teachers are better paid than those in private schools. However, since a Spanish teacher is by definition bilingual, he or she would be paid better working outside of the teaching profession, which I personally feel is a sad statement. Good teachers are paid poorly for the services they perform.
