How are Mexican men different from white men?

Question

What are their expectations of their wife or gf? Do they typically value their non mexican women the same as their mexican women? Do Mexican men have respect for women more than white men do? I am hoping for the input of the mexican people. Please do not give any answers with racism, only truth.

Most Latino men are very family oriented, most Latino families are pretty much together and stick together, however, that doesnt make them better men. Some are pretty abusive, and most are kinda controling. Thats how they keep the family together, but the loyalty to the family is pretty strong. I will say that about them, give the men credit for all that, but you need to definately have a change in lifestyle to marry one, and be prepared for anything that he throw at you, literally. I guess it depends on who you are with, there are those types in white and latino men, but more often than not, it can get kinda hairy in the relationship. Just watch where you go and where you step with these guys. Good Luck.

MEXICAN MEN ARE MORE POSSESSIVE. THEY TEND TO BE JEALOUS AND THEY WANT A WOMAN TO DO THE WIFELY DUTIES AND PRODUCE CHILDREN. WHITE MEN TEND TOBE JEALOUS TOO BUT THEY HIDE IT TO A CERTAIN EXTENT. THEY USUALLY HAVE A LITTLE RESPECT. IT DEPENDS ON WHO U END UP WITH. THIS IS FROM MY EXPERIENCE

Which Mexican men, and which White men? Men are individuals who do not behave in a certain manner because of their heritage or nationality. It is a big mistake to start generalizing about any group of people. You need to look at the particular person you're involved with and decide if the content of his "character" is what you want in your life or not.

Strange question, you should not stereotype people like that: Mexican and white men... All of men are different, no matter what their nationality or race is... While some similarities do exist, such as Hispanic (not Mexican) men are usually more family oriented, for example, it is never safe to say that all of them are family oriented. Stereotyping never did any good when figuring out a person or group of people are like. This is how we built prejudices and conflicts.
Find a man and GET TO KNOW him, without asking around what "his race people" are like, so that you do not make any assumptions, esp. the wrong ones.

I think the expectation of the Mexican man would be that the wife be very submissive to him and the he is more in control... whereas... the white man tend to respect the equality between a man and a woman in a relationship....
