I would choose Europe, since USA is famous with high crime rate, and not that clean streets...not like Switzerland.
On the other hand, USA has Vegas :), and the salaries are better than in Europe.

So, like, have you actually LIVED in the U.S.? Or even visited here? It's not really like that at all for the most part. Most of the U.S. is awesome, clean, well taken care of, and crime, at least violent crime, isn't as major as it's portrayed to be. Of course, there are areas that are an exception, especially poor areas of large cities.

And Canada is even a cooler place to live (and I don't mean cold, I mean COOL, as in KEWL, LOL!)

I lived both in USA and in Europe, living in EU currently...

It depends a lot on where you go, but consider this: In USA you can get fired any moment from basically any job position, while in most european countries the workers sindicates protect your right to keep your job. Taxes in EU are higher then the US, but you get free medical assistance for that, so it's up to you to decide what you prefer out of those teo options.

What else...well, the EU might be a tad safer to live in than the US (for example, people aren't allowed to easily gain access to, and carry, firearms from the age of 5 :P ).

On the other hand, until the big industries realize that EU's economy is actually larger than that of the US, living in the US means you get all electonic gadgets, new phones, new movies, etc. a few months sooner than in Europe, which is kinda nice if you love videogames and hollywood productions.

There is one heavy point in Europe's favor though: US history began about 500 years ago (350-ish actually, but let's count from the moment america was discovered), so the oldest thing you will find is a church in NY.
Europe's history and culture is almost 3000 years old, which means that, if you live in Spain, France, Germany, Austria, UK, and especially Greece and Italy, you will be SURROUNDED by culture and art, which is quite nifty.

Guess you haven't heard, Europe has a huge rise in violent crimes and it is getting worse.

Go for it, we need the room here in the US oh, and the taxes are a lot higher in Europe.
