we are a real estate network. we decided to build our own website. we made two sites (but does not have it's own domain name). one from geocities and one from orgsites.com

here is the link of the sites we made:
http://www.orgsites.com/ca/dbrittanycorp/
http://www.geocities.com/brittany.corporation/

tell me which is better and if you are a buyer, which will you prefer seeing.

The layout of the second site orgsites looks more professional. However I think the 'enter site' page should be taken out. Visitors may get bored waiting for the page to open.

well, i'd just love working with you folks! love international sales! ...

the site made at geocities is better because there is motion. i think, however, that the circle moving across the first page creates eye irritation.

colors are brighter in it, and although i really love the drawings of properties on orgsites, they are static. but they are very, very good drawings. i think a buyer wants to see the real thing, not what he may think is illusionary. this applies especially to that usa buyer purchasing property overseas.

the orgsites page has too many things in it about the company rather than marketing to the buyer.

i enjoyed opening the geocities link that took me to the utube clip, with the music.

the links to excel spreadsheets in the orgsites page don't open, btw. but i am sure that is easily remedied and that you are working on it.

if i owned brittany, i would not put the membership signup or headquarters info and phone number on the bottom of that page, rather, i'd place it somewhere in between the pictures of the villas so that you could see both--that you can sign up right there, or scroll down and look at more of the projects' drawings.

i was pleased to see the variety of ways that financing can be arranged on geocities.

so YOU designed geocities??? very, very good!

i hope this input helps you, and do write to me if you want a chicago broker affiliate.
