how long does it take for the plant to sprout buds?

after putting them into bud(12 hrs light, 12 hours no light) it should only take about 2 weeks, before seeing the first flowers

It takes about 10 weeks for it to sprout, or you have a male plant and you can still smoke the leaves. Take care Heather

Under the right conditions, not long. Take a look at germinating seeds on google.
