Can I move out of the house at age 17? Like Just move in with a roommate, I live In alaska and i dont know what the law says.

You can move out, but you can't sign a lease, can't get electric service or cable or Internet or water in your name, without your parent's signature until you are 18.

According to this site, the age of majority (age to move out) in Alaska is 18. The site does have information about getting emancipated at age 16, though, so check it out.

check into emancipation. see a lawyer. if you have a job and a place to live, it might work for you.

you can get emancipated at age 16 but unfortunatly you have to get your parents signitures.

Most states let you. Don't expect any monetary support from your parents.
