last month i had a paternity test done with my son and my baby's dad so i can put him on child support. the results came back that he was not the father. yesturday i received another letter from them stating that if my baby's dad is the only possible father i would have to pay 159 dollars for a 2nd DNA test. i have never heard of a 2nd DNA test cause i heard those tests are 100% accurate. Now i have to request another DNA test because i know my baby's dad is the father of my son. I think they screwed up the test so they can get me to pay for it cause it was free the first time. what ya'll think?

i think, no matter what, i would have a second (or blood) test for DNA.

when it comes back he is, i would report that first company to all state/federal agencies.

I have never heard of a case like this, it sounds like you are getting screwed. I am guessing you are going through the county since it is for child support. 159 is awfully cheap for a dna test and if they are saying you need a second test to prove he is the father sounds like bs. I think you should find out more about the company performing the dna test. Maybe you should get and independent dna company to do the test, it's expensive, but it will put your mind at rest.

Don't let the others get you down, they are not trying to be helpful. Do what is best for you and your son. You can't change the past, but learn from it.

CS IS a scam.......my husbands ex had my "step" sons living in abject poverty without even JACKETS for the winter, while she spent our $2000 a month in "child" support on her cars and drinking. Thank God we have custody now, for their sake, but YES there absoutely must be some accountability law on how support is spent for the sake of the kids

the best thing to do is know who the father of your child is first. When I had my daughter, I knew who her father was, my husband
