Hate harms the hater worse than the hated.
Please, Hitler is dead, thank GOD! And to hate anyone will do you more harm than it will them. Will give you high blood pressure, migraines, wrinkles, gnashing your teeth at night.
Not all the German people are bad people and not all of them started WWII, nor were Nazis, nor bought into Hitler's ideology, they were forced into it - do or die. Children turned their parents into the SS if they weren't enthusiastic enough. Not all Germans were innocent, either, many war criminals got away, many people who knew about the camps turned their heads.
But the bottom line, my friend, is to spend your wonderful energy on POSITIVE energies like helping others, heal the world, volunteer, become a Big Brother, help the elderly or handicapped. Get out of yourself and stop hating!
Incidentally, I am Jewish and Hitler's Final Solution killed off most of my father's family, I have 32 reasons to hate him. I don't hate Hitler, just what was done. I don't hate Germans, in fact, I have even spoken with some of Hitler's house staff. I just want to get along with the world and not hate anyone.
There is FAR too much of hate here now, please don't spread it around. Commit random acts of kindness - that's the way to eradacate hate!

Interesting take but the root cause of WWII was not the Germans. After WWI the nations of France, Russia (Prussia), Belgium, Poland and England set a huge monetary charge on Germany as well as destroying their national standing as a country in Europe. To put it bluntly, Germans had no say in the running of their own country. Muslim factions from Northern Africa aided the young Hitler in ascending in power through the use of xenophobic stereotyping of the Jews. The German people, who's fathers had fought in WWI, where tired of being shi* on by the rest of Europe and wanted to form their own independent nation again. This is truly what began WWII and if you don't believe the Muslim connection, do some political research on 1930 Europe leading up the Germany's aggression pac and the invasion of Poland. Why do you think the Jews where a target?

Hello, I'm a German and I haven't started WW2, and I was born 36 years after it ended. I hate Hitler too and all what Germans did in WW2. I can understand that you can start to hate Germans when you learn about this history, but it's not fair to hate people just because they are of the same nationality like these criminals if they haven't done anything bad themselves and condemn these crimes just as you do. It's still your choice if you want to hate me, but I don't know what I have done that I should be hated for.

I hate Hitler too and I'm half German. It doesn't have anything to do with my family and I though. Every race has had some sort of idiot like Hitler but you can't persecute future generations for something that happened due to evil. By saying you hate all germans, you are in a sense doing what Hitler did by hating all jewish and black people. I hope u learn to humble yourself and do some growing up fast.+

OH,, and the japanese hate the states becuase of nagasaki and hiroshima, becuase the states were trying to save their army and kill millions of japanese citizens n theprocess, and the president knew perfectly well, being informed from einstein, it would caus massive civilian deaths,

so hitler decides "hmm i want germany to have power lets start a war" and germany goes "well crapshoot, if we dont believe him, well get executed, if we do, we'll die in war, so lets pick die in war for germany"
its a thing about pride and dead ends.

you can't even spell.
but besides that, you need to look at the context. Hitler was voted in because he offered an alternative to the economic depression Germany was experiencing (their second in a decade, caused by the americans by the way) and he delivered. Of course, we all know what he did elsewhere was despicable, but it's so easy for you to judge an entire nation based on a moment of desperation, the Germans are some of the most civilised people in the world, whereas the Americans are a shower of red neck hicks who are doing much worse things throughout the world, in the name of 'counter-terrorism'. dreadful people.

It is reasonable to hate Hitler. However, did you and your friends start the current mess in Iraq? No? My friends and I didn't start it either. Most Americans had nothing to do with it. And I believe that most Germans had equally little to do with the start of World War II.

I wonder how productive it is to hate somebody who's been dead for over 60 years. I think most people, except for the few willfully ignorant sorts one hears from time to time, would agree that Hitler was not a nice fellow.
He was not a German, strangely enough, but an Austrian, incidentally.
Why not address your energies to something about which you can do something? For example, can you think of any unjust wars going on now? Can you think of any people suffering from famine or illness?
Fix those problems. They are happening now.
