Okay, I'm going to be graduating from 8th grade on June 4, but the promotion dance is the week before. Now my school, they don't allow halter, strappless or floor length gowns. So, I have no idea what to wear.
Now, for the hair, I'm getting it cut this week like this- http://www.chordsandtab.com/kellyclarkson_opt.jpg
And I'm getting some highlights too.By graduation, Iknow my hair will be longer. My hair is a light brownish dirty blonde, and it's naturally wavy/curly. I have fair skin and blue eyes. Any ideas of what I should do with my hair and what type of dress I should get?

It depends on your body type. If you're tall then go with a dress above the knees. If you're small then go a little past them. It will show off your figure. You have fair skin so go with the yellows and pinks! I recommoned a nice blue to bring out your eyes...and remember the highlights will also do that. Theres also the fact that it's summer-to-be so you want to be in with the season. Keep in mind of a flower dress. Make sure its not tight and short. that looks cheap.
When it comes to your hair:
Suprise everyone and straighten it! Poof it up in the back and then get a head band. Push it back then forward. It will leave you with a really cute bump. Maybe have a flower to go with the dress.

first your hair: if you keep it curly then try pulling just a small front portion like you are going to put your hair 1/2 up but not as much hair pull it close to the front with a small push up in the front you can use bobby pins or a straight hair clasp.. if you straighten your hair i would leave it down and turn bottom out (sort of like the pic)
now the dress: i would go with a nice simple approx. knee length dress remember it is going to be close to summer and since you have fair skin so with a lighter color.. floral print is not in so please no flowers.. either a solid color or one with a design on it.. it is hard not to find strapless so just remember you can always get a short jacket or even a button up shirt to wear over it or you could even get a skirt and button up short sleeve shirt
hope this helps just remember be comfortable and HAVE FUN!!

Cool hairstyle! I would put it up and hold it with a rhinestone clip.
As for the dress, find a short sleeve or long sleeve one, that comes to just below your knees. A dress with a back zipper would be the best, with a high neckline collar.

i remember those days. with 8th grade graduation, look conservative, but chic, always. you're still a young'n so you don't wanna go looking like a hoochie mama. wear a cute spring pastel dress that comppliments your shape. if it's a halter, wear a cute little neutral sweater over it and heeled sandals, preferably white, depending on your dress color

I just got my 8Th grade graduation dress. I'm light skin and blue eye's so I have a baby blue dress. Go to -http://www.prom-dresses.com/prom-dresses13.html- it has all different dresses and you might like one. I suggest black or burgundy(reddish.) Have fun dress hunting.

I feel that skirts tend to either look kind of cheap or trashy if they are tight and short, or they may be just the run of the mill jean skirts that are not necessarily sexy.

Try maxi dresses with the side slits those will look great on you! No matter whether you have long legs or not just strut that skirt

if you wear a dree that has straps or no straps at all...you could cover it up by wearing one of those mini jackets that are very long.
