Don'tcha think that if you have long hair, having it all one length looks better?
It looks really bad when a girl with bangs puts her hair up or into a ponytail... and I just think to myself "girl, why did you DO that?"
I mean, even if you have a giant forehead, sidepart your hair and minimize it that way!
This girl hasn't had bangs since I was 6... and that was only because my mother cut my hair!

I have had bangs all my life...and I get compliments on them all the time. I even have long hair-it doesn't look bad at all (especially not when I put it up).

I think its cuz it looks good on certain people and other people think that they'll look like that too so everyone cuts their hair cuz its "in".

it gives your face a frame and character. also it covers the large fore head some of us girls have!!

i don't like those bangs that cover ur whole forhead...but my side bangs look like Ashley Tisdale's! i guess some girls like having some hair in their faces? idk.
